UK tax rates and allowances

The figures this site applies, printed with the source each one was read from. One row per tax year, newest first.

Why these pages exist

A tax calculator is only as good as the table behind it, and most of them do not show you that table. These pages are ours. The calculators read the same rows, so a figure printed here and a figure in a result come from one place and cannot drift apart.

Every row here carries the source the figure was read from. A row that carries none is not printed, and a short line says which year was left out instead. That is deliberate. A rate with nothing behind it is the one most likely to be wrong and the hardest for a reader to check.

If a figure differs from what the revenue authority publishes today, start with the link on the row. Read the figure at the source before you file anything, and tell us if we have it wrong.

What is not here

There is no download, no data feed and no single page with every figure on it. Each tax has its own page and that is the only way to read the tables. The sources are public and linked on every row, so anyone who wants the raw figures can get them from the authority that published them.
